Hard to split the top two picks. ALPINE DAME faded to finish on the winners' heels at only start at Devonport Synthetic and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw, genuine contender. DIESEL'S SUNSHINE let-up and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier, among the chances. LADY FERN has placed four times at Hobart before, cannot be ruled out. OUTBUSH first start and undefefeated in two lead-up trials, sneaky chance.
